Panthera Dental CAD/CAM factory remains active and will always continue to be productive and efficient.

JUNE 17TH, 2020 | 250 000 FACE SHIELDS DELIVERED

Panthera Dental is finalizing its assistance project for various Quebec hospitals in order to counter Covid-19, with a total delivery of more than 250,000 face shields. It is through the restructuring of production, the support of the community, the participation of several partners, and employees dedicated to the cause that the company greatly surpassed its initial production goal. Panthera will deliver its last face shields to the CHU de Québec in the next few days.

The project has allowed the company and its partners, such as Voxel Factory, Bodycad, Dicom and many more, to sustain employment for more than 100 families during this difficult period. In addition to 250,000 face shields supplied to hospitals, Panthera will have donated more than 3,000 face shields to non-profit organizations.

“The main goal of this project was to sustain as many jobs as possible in our great Panthera family. Our new headquarters’ factory, which is normally 100% automated, completely transformed itself to establish visor disinfection and assembly stations in order to respond to the urgent need for medical supplies. One thing is certain: Mission accomplished for our team and our partners!” says Gabriel Robichaud, CEO of Panthera Dental.

Now having a system in place for massive emergency production of medical supplies, the company says it is ready to respond to a call for assistance, once more, should a possible second wave occur, even though it is not a situation that is wished for.

The Panthera Dental team wanted to keep you informed regarding the shipping procedures for our United States clients and current production.

Above all, our team wanted to extend to you our deepest gratitude for your continued trust during these difficult times. We are doubling our efforts in order to support you in this unusual situation while maintaining respect for security and health measures implemented in-house.

 

Our Current Production:

Our current production is not affected by our governments’ preventive measure increases. By contributing to the medical field and manufacturing medical equipment to fight COVID-19, we are an essential company. The Canadian governments’ measures to avoid the spread of COVID-19, therefore, do not affect our CAD/CAM factory and our services. However, our team remains cautious and respects the rules to counter the spread of the virus.

We invite you to continue to send your cases to our team in charge of receiving and shipping. We will make every possible effort to avoid additional delays. We will keep adapting as developments in the situation occur. Please know that our priority is, and always will be, to uphold our high manufacturing standards.

 

U.S. Shipping Procedure:

Preventive actions taken by the U.S. Government to prevent the spread of COVID-19 have led to the temporary closure of our office located in the United States (NJ). As of today and until further notice, your cases have to be sent directly to our Headquarters, in Canada.

MARCH 20TH, 2020 | UPDATE | PANTHERA DAYS

The Panthera Dental team wanted to issue a statement concerning the present global situation and Panthera Days 2020. Because of the rapid evolution of the worldwide spread of COVID 19, we must quickly make a decision regarding whether or not this highly anticipated event will take place.

This Friday, March 20, 2020, the Panthera Dental team reluctantly announces that Panthera Days 2020 will be postponed. The purpose of this event was to offer participants advanced training in the three divisions of the great Panthera family and give exclusive tours of the new Panthera headquarters during the Grand Opening.

Multiple factors led to this decision, including closure of the Canadian borders announced by the Canadian government, the numerous preventive actions maintained by the Quebec government as well as several exceptional laws leading to business closures for several of our clients. For all these reasons, we have decided to postpone the event to a later date. With events unfolding quickly, it was a matter of priority to act upstream. We believe we have made the best possible decision in these extraordinary circumstances which are unfortunately beyond our control.

Participants who have already paid their Panthera Days admission fees are admissible to a full refund from Panthera Dental, even if the event is only postponed. If the event is cancelled, Panthera Days admission fees will be fully refunded by Panthera Dental. Only admission fees to Panthera Days will be subject to a refund by Panthera Dental.

MARCH 18TH, 2020 | PRESS RELEASE

The Panthera Dental team wanted to issue a statement concerning the present global situation and the measures taken in-house in order to avoid any inconvenience or complication regarding the health of our employees and clients, as well as the current production.

We know that the outbreak and spread of COVID-19 can raise concerns and worry. Please be assured that we are taking every necessary precaution and closely monitoring the development of the situation. In order to counter the risk of propagation, all our employees were met personally and were notified about the various measures being put in place. Concerning production, it is not affected by the preventive actions of the different governments and our 100% automated CAD/CAM factory remains active and will always continue to be productive and efficient.

As previously announced, preventive actions announced by the Quebec and Canadian governments have led to the closure of school facilities and daycare centers and to increased measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. These various preventive actions will force a few of our employees to take additional days off during this period. This staff reduction might impact manufacturing and delivery delays. However, thanks to our 100% robotized factory and thanks to the extra effort of our team, our production remains active and our team remains at your disposal for all your needs.

MARCH 16TH, 2020 | UPDATE

The preventive measures taken by the Government of Québec have led to closing down schools and daycares for a minimum of two weeks. These closings may force some of our employees to take time off from work during this period. This reduction of personnel could translate into fabrication and delivery delays.

As we make significant efforts to avoid and minimize these delays, we will continuously adapt to the ongoing situation. Please note that maintaining our high standards of fabrication is and will always be our main priority.
