Panthera Dental is proud to award Panthera Laboratory Scanner Certification to DOF Inc. and its 3D dental scanner: The Freedom UHD. This certification is dedicated to the precision and repeatability of any laboratory scanner for implant bars and bridges.
Panthera Dental has created an exhaustive series of tests to judge if a dental laboratory scanner is precise enough for implant bars and bridges. These assessments include precision tests and repeatability tests. The Freedom UHD from DOF Inc. is the first scanner to successfully pass every test with remarkable results.
The Panthera Laboratory Scanner Certification involves scanning 4 different 5-implant cases with very long spans and comparing the results to those of an industrial 1-nanometer precision scanner. The Freedom UHD was able to achieve high standards on precision tests and repeatability tests.
