A Hybrid Solution Designed for Performance and Predictability
The Panthera Fusion Bar® is a CAD/CAM-milled titanium bar designed to serve as a robust substructure for 3-unit bridge and full-arch restorations. When paired with Ivoclar Prime zirconia, the system enables a hybrid restorative approach—combining the strength and passive fit of a titanium bar with the esthetics and durability of monolithic zirconia.
In this configuration, the zirconia restoration functions as a prosthetic overlay bonded or cemented over the PFB®, similar in concept to a crown over a prepared tooth. The bar provides structural support and load distribution, while the zirconia delivers high strength, excellent wear resistance, and natural esthetics—without the need for pontics or traditional bridge frameworks.
Validated Material Compatibility
IPS e.max® Prime® zirconia is optimized for full-arch indications where strength, reliability, and efficiency are critical. It offers high flexural strength for demanding implant cases where durability and performance are paramount. Ivoclar’s Prime zirconia material integrates seamlessly into digital workflows and is compatible with the Panthera Fusion Bar design parameters, supporting reproducible results for laboratories and confidence for clinicians.
